The role
The role is ideally full-time (37.5 hours a week), but part-time will also be considered.
The specific job title, role, responsibilities and salary will reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
You’ll create and deliver PR strategies that help our clients stand out, build strong media connections, and make the most of digital and social media opportunities to elevate their profile and reputation.
What you’ll do
Develop and deliver PR and communications strategies that meet client goals.
Write compelling press releases, blogs and other content, e.g. newsletters, thought leadership, awards entries, case studies, testimonials etc.
Create and coordinate engaging multi-media content (copy, photography, video etc).
Build and manage relationships with clients, journalists and media outlets.
Manage and develop client social media accounts.
Plan and deliver events such as media calls, photocalls and press opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate media coverage and other outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure a joined-up approach across campaigns.
Keep up to date with emerging PR, communications and marketing trends.
What you’ll bring
A recognised qualification in PR, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
At least two years’ experience in a communications, PR, marketing or journalism role (agency experience is a plus).
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
Strong grasp of digital strategies and social media management.
Capable of managing multiple projects to tight deadlines.
Creativity, initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good teamwork and strong people skills.
What we offer
Salary range £27,000 - £35,000.
