Our work
We’ve been grabbing headlines for our clients for years.
Take a look at the latest examples.

Documenting a special piece of Willerby’s heritage
Some PR projects stand out from the crowd, and this was one our team will remember as a highlight for a long time to come.
We were pleased to support our client, Willerby, in documenting the special moment they reunited with Jean Morris, the only daughter of the business’s founder, Walter Allen.
The wheels for the reunion were set in motion when Jean read a media article (written by us!) about the company’s achievements and called the head office out of the blue to say her father would be proud to see how far the business he founded had come.
Willerby invited 92-year-old Jean to take a tour of a modern Willerby holiday home at a luxury holiday park in Cornwall to see the fruits of her late father’s labour.
Our team member Emily joined Willerby’s Marketing Manager, April Court, during the special reunion and interviewed the lovely Jean, capturing her reaction to seeing a modern Willerby and picking her brains about the early days of the business.
With so many memories and emotions to capture, we compiled an extensive content package to enable Willerby to share the story across a wide range of platforms.
After producing an initial press release on the reunion, which was carried by both regional and trade media, we also developed an in-depth feature article, video content and more memories to be used both internally and externally during Willerby’s 80th anniversary in 2026.
Covering such an emotional and sentimental reunion required a particularly sensitive and delicate approach - something our team excels at.
This project is a great example of how PR is so much more than just writing press releases.

Helping Wykeland tell their stories of remarkable regeneration
We’ve been Wykeland Group’s PR partner for ten years or so, supporting a wide range of projects and helping share the story of their work across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber.
As we’re both Hull-based businesses, we’ve particularly enjoyed working on two of their recent city centre regeneration projects - Castle Buildings, including the former Earl de Grey pub, and Burton House. These are prime examples of the expertise and care Wykeland bring to every development.
Castle Buildings had been unoccupied for more than 50 years. Wykeland’s £2m restoration preserved original features like parquet floors, wrought iron columns, and a mosaic entryway, while creating modern, flexible commercial space. The neighbouring Earl de Grey pub was carefully rebuilt, with its iconic frontage restored and incorporated into the development.
The former Burton building, Hull’s 1930s art deco landmark, has also been returned to its former glory. Now renamed Burton House, the building’s granite cladding has been replaced with stone from the same quarry as the original, the lift refurbished, and light, open-plan floors created for leisure and office uses.
As Wykeland’s PR agency, we’ve had a front-row view of the transformation of both buildings, from empty shells to fully restored, usable spaces. High-vis on, hard hats in place, we’ve seen first-hand the skill and care that goes into every detail.
Our role has been to make sure those stories reach the right people. We’ve handled media enquiries, organised photocalls, and built relationships with journalists to secure coverage across local, regional, and sector media, highlighting both the human and technical sides of the projects.
Having an experienced and highly-capable PR partner on board ensures Wykeland’s achievements don’t go unnoticed. It brings the work behind the scenes to life, helping Wykeland’s projects gain the awareness and acknowledgement they deserve, while adding to the company’s reputation as one of the region’s leading commercial developers and regeneration specialists.

Supporting Siemens Mobility and highlighting their impact in Goole
As Siemens Mobility's local PR and communications partner, we've been working closely with their operational and comms teams to promote the significant social value delivered by the game-changing investment in the Goole Rail Village.
A recent highlight of this ongoing partnership was our PR project focusing on a programme delivered by Siemens Mobility in collaboration with national charity Primary Engineer. The programme aimed to inspire primary school children in Goole to consider careers in engineering.
This year, Siemens Mobility's STEM Ambassadors engaged with 13 schools, reaching around 400 children and 30 teachers. The programme culminated in the largest celebration event to date, a fantastic achievement that will leave a lasting legacy for the local community.
Our role was to publicise this initiative, which resulted in widespread coverage across local, regional, rail, manufacturing, and engineering media.
This project is a great example of how we've worked with Siemens Mobility to help promote their positive impact in local communities.

Helping shape Oh Yes! Net Zero's Year Three impact report
We supported client Oh Yes! Net Zero with the creation and publication of its Year Three impact report. This was a comprehensive project that required a mix of storytelling, strategic thinking, and a keen understanding of the client’s broader goals.
Using our storytelling and interview skills, we produced a series of powerful member case studies, as a range of organisations shared their sustainability story so far. We interviewed members on camera, supporting the creation of impactful videos, and brought their stories to life through written content.
In addition to the case studies, we created a series of articles that formed a central part of the report. These articles highlighted the key achievements and developments over the year. We also put together impact reports of several hero projects, including the Carbon Clinic Workshops, the Climate Changemakers programme, and the University of Hull partnership. We focused on presenting each project’s contributions clearly, while ensuring the content was engaging and highlighted the meaningful impact of their work.
Several of our press releases from the past year featured prominently in the report, playing a key role in shaping its overall narrative and strategic positioning.
This project highlights how we helped shape Oh Yes! Net Zero's Year Three impact report, from creating engaging content and providing strategic input to ensuring the report effectively communicated their achievements and future goals.

Spencer Bridge Engineering’s Scottish bridge wins
This was one of those projects where the behind-the-scenes work really mattered. When Spencer Bridge Engineering was appointed for not just one, but three landmark Scottish bridge projects, we knew it was a story worth shouting about.
With so many stakeholders involved, you might expect a complicated approval process - but because we know this sector inside out, the press release didn’t need many amendments. Even when one of the projects changed midway through, we quickly and smoothly incorporated the feedback. There were definitely a few moments where it felt like herding cats, but we kept things moving with a sense of humour.
Once we had the all-clear, we tailored the story for industry insiders and the wider public, highlighting the engineering expertise and what these projects mean for Scotland’s infrastructure. We secured extensive media coverage in leading trade and national Scottish titles, including New Civil Engineer, Bridge Design and Engineering, The National and The Herald, to name just a few!

Celebrating Integra Buildings’ The King’s Award
When Integra Buildings won The King’s Award for Enterprise, we knew it was a moment that deserved to be celebrated far and wide. We know the Integra team well, having handled their PR, communications and social media activity for the past eight years, so we were able to turn this awards-success into a story that felt genuine and relatable.
We staged a photocall with the entire Integra team, capturing the moment with photos and drone video. Bear in mind the news was still under wraps at the time!
We focused on the people, the passion for sustainability, and the difference Integra is making in the community. Instead of just listing facts, we made sure the message was warm, clear, and easy for anyone to get behind. We also spread the word on social media and scripted communications to employees, clients, partners, suppliers and sub-contractors.
By getting the word out through trusted media and making the story personal, we helped Integra’s big news get the attention it deserved. The response was fantastic. The news gained lots of positive coverage, and a real sense of pride for everyone involved.

Celebrating Siemens Mobility’s social impact
We get to know our clients inside and out so we can spot opportunities for meaningful PR which will build their reputation with clients, customers and stakeholders.
We know how important it is for businesses to showcase their corporate social impact. So when we heard about Siemens Mobility team members being supported to volunteer in their local community, we saw the perfect opportunity to highlight how the business is making a meaningful difference where it works.
For this project we had a clear creative vision. They say a photo tells a thousand words, and we knew the thing which would really take this story up a notch was the photos. Not only could these images be used as part of a comprehensive media package, but if done right, they could be used time and time again in project bids, internal reports, on social media and much more.
Although our team pride ourselves on our exemplary written skills, we also know how important other media is for telling a client’s story. We are experienced in working closely with a range of talented photographers and videographers to make our client’s vision come to life, and convey the story in images as well as words.
